A weekend fit for a wench -OR- How did I ever make it four days without falling off the ramparts?

This is a real sign hung under the ramparts of Carcassonne. These things are all over the place. What does it mean - to watch out for falling people ?

More pics of THE wedding anniversary weekend, the one where I was wisked away to wander the walled city with my Frogboy Manboy frogprince are up on Flickr, for the curious, the lurkers, the indifferent and the like.

Regretfully, photos of the wine festival have been through Sassy’s screening process and let’s just say that no amount of photoshopping could make up for the “hmm, let me just taste this one too” blurriness. Sorry. Suffice it to say that salsa was danced under dim streetlights, tapas were vigourously downed, and Manboy was wearing his happy face. Proof that being married can be fun.

In other news, I’ve since turned into a ball of mush and am back to the usual whining and complaining, whilst mildly obsessing over whatever thought-life happens to be occupying my secret garden/inner-world at the moment because I am a textbook INFP, my dearies. This morning it was preg tests. I just couldn’t see why my clockwork body has been harbouring a 31 day cycle. I thus beckoned to my everlastingly patient Manboy that he must be at the pharmacy WHEN IT OPENS BECAUSE I HAVE TO PEE PEE SO VERY BADLY, and like a trooper, he kindly obeyed. The result? Negative. As if.

Your anniversary get away pictures are lovely. It sounds as if you had a romantic, fun, food and wine filled time. You and Manboy are proving that Married bliss is not an oxymoron.

I checked out the pics- looks like an amazing place. That’s pretty funny about the wine festival ones! Sorry to hear about the negative result, though.

I just LOVE Carcassonne! Can you believe we were there the day before 14 juillet fireworks…and didn’t go back to see the show??? That would have been incredible! We were, however, there watching them set them up. Oh joy. Pyro-Hubby enjoyed it though!
