Today was a work holiday here in France, and I spent a part of it doing this. Will let you know how the finished product does eventually turn out, but here’s a sneak peek at the unfinished…
Maybe it takes away some of the mystery, but what the hell, if the knitters can post an unfinished sock, I’ll post an unfinished painting. I’ll let you know how this one turns out.

Well said! I think it’s really interesting to see the process leading to the final painting, much more interesting than a half knitted sock! And especially so since I’m not a painter myself but just an occational buyer of beautiful finished products
I like seeing how you build upon each layer. I really enjoyed painting when I was in school- but I totally sucked at it. Can’t wait to see it when it is finished!

180/360 – I really have a hard time thinking you sucked at anything art(ish), seriously.
I’ll let you guys know how it progresses, for the moment I haven’t touched it, as I am back at work and having a quite stressful week, which I hope to avoid transferring onto the canvas !
